Olivia Rodrigo Announces GUTS World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo Announces GUTS World Tour

Olivia Rodrigo has announced the GUTS world tour. Fans are being asked to register ahead of tickets going on sale to help block bots, reduce resale, and get more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show.

Learn how to register for the North American dates below. If you’re interested in information about tour dates in UK and Europe, head to oliviarodrigo.com for more information.

Key Dates To Know

  • Registration for American Express® Early Access and the Registration Onsale is open through Sunday, September 17 at 10 pm ET.
  • Invitations for American Express® Early Access will be sent by the evening of Tuesday, September 19.
  • American Express® Early Access to see Olivia Rodrigo takes place on Wednesday, September 20.
  • Invitations for the Registration Onsale will be sent by the evening of Wednesday, September 20.
  • The Registration Onsale takes place on Thursday, September 21.

Registration does not, however, guarantee that every fan will get access to the sale. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. A limited number of randomly selected fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist. Getting access to the sale doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first–come, first–served basis.

Why do I need to register?
Because Tickets are Limited: When there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone who wants them, random selection gives all fans who successfully registered a chance to be selected to participate in the sale.

Because it Helps Reduce Bots: Registration helps filter out bots that gain an unfair advantage over fans who want to go to the show. Knowing who should be in the queue ahead of time also makes it easier for us to identify and block suspicious bot–like activity. While it doesn’t guarantee that everyone who buys tickets won’t resell them, it typically cuts that number to less than 5–10% of all tickets (compared to 20–30% of tickets from sales that don’t use registration).

Registration does not guarantee access to the sale, or to tickets. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available, meaning only a limited number of fans will gain access to the sale. The system will then work on a first–come, first–served basis.

How do I register for the Olivia Rodrigo GUTS world tour?
Simply fill out the registration form and pick your preferred show. You will receive an email confirmation that your registration has been completed.

Next, you’ll receive an email on Wednesday, September 20 letting you know if you were randomly selected to participate in the sale or placed on the waitlist.

A) If you’ve been randomly selected to participate in the sale, you will receive a unique code via text the day before the sale begins. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets available. Note: Codes only work with your account; they cannot be bought or sold.

B) If you’ve been waitlisted you may be randomly selected to join the sale if tickets remain. If that happens, you’ll be notified via text.

Please remember:

  • This sale can only be accessed by the randomly selected individuals who registered and received a unique access code.
  • Registering does not guarantee you’ll get a code, and receiving a code does not guarantee you will get a ticket.

Olivia Rodrigo Releases GUTS Tracklist

Olivia Rodrigo Releases GUTS Tracklist

Days after teasing song titles in a messy bedroom – complete with violet bedsheets, a skateboard, and several instruments on the rug – Olivia Rodrigo has finally revealed the GUTS track list.

Her follow–up to Sour, out Sept. 8, doesn’t have a single boring song title: There’s All–American Bitch, Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl, and the eerily familiar Teenage Dream, to name a few. Check out the rest below.

The announcement follows the lead single Vampire, which Rodrigo dropped alongside a video directed by her frequent collaborator, Petra Collins. I just sat down at the piano one day and played these chords that felt kind of gothic to me, she told Rolling Stone. I think there’s a lot of vampire lore to be played with, like ‘You only come out at night’ and stuff like that. There’s a lot of fun songwriting fodder in there.

Rodrigo will release several editions of GUTS on vinyl, pressed in colors ranging from navy to ivory. Hopefully, she’ll drop some tour dates soon.

  1. All–American Bitch
  2. Bad Idea, Right?
  3. Vampire
  4. Lacy
  5. Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl
  6. Making the Bed
  7. Logical
  8. Get Him Back!
  9. Love Is Embarrassing
  10. The Grudge
  11. Pretty Isn’t Pretty
  12. Teenage Dream

Olivia Rodrigo Signs With Lighthouse Management

Olivia Rodrigo Signs With Lighthouse Management

Rumors that 2021 breakout star Olivia Rodrigo is signing with new management are true: The seven-time-Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter-actor has signed with Lighthouse Management + Media’s Aleen Keshishian and Zack Morgenroth for management in all areas, a source close to the situation confirms to Variety.

The move seems to reflect a desire on Rodrigo’s part to be with a company that straddles music and film/TV, and with a roster that includes Jennifer Aniston, Selena Gomez, Jason Bateman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Rudd, artist Petra Collins, and supermodel Miranda Kerr, among others, Lighthouse would seem to fit that bill.

Rodrigo, who was named Songwriter of the Year at Variety‘s Hitmakers event in December, was previously managed by Kristen Smith of Camp Far West. Rumors that she was seeking new management were first reported in Hits last month.

Rodrigo capped her breakthrough year with an impressive seven Grammy nominations related to her debut album “Sour,” including album of the year, song of the year, record of the year and best new artist. While other artists had more nominations — specifically Jon Batiste, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat and H.E.R. — Rodrigo is the only one nominated in each of the “Big Four.”

Ironically, the last artist to achieve that feat also has seven nods this year: Billie Eilish, who swept the Big Four at the 2020 awards with her “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” album and “Bad Guy” single (she and her brother/collaborator Finneas won two others that year as well).

Only 17 at the time, Eilish set the record as the youngest person to receive all four nominations — beating Rodrigo, who is 18.

Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo & Lana Del Rey Celebrate Interscope Exhibit at LACMA

Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Olivia Rodrigo are just a few of the artists who stepped out Wednesday night for the opening of LACMA’s “Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined” exhibit.

The show features more than 50 artworks inspired by Interscope recording artists by 46 visual artists. Most are newly commissioned and are being presented for the first time.

Highlights include Damien Hirst pieces inspired by Eminem, Kehinde Wiley’s portrait of Dr. Dre and Ed Ruscha’s work for 2Pac’s “All Eyez on Me.”

Other visual artists included in the exhibit include Jennifer Guidi, Shepard Fairey, Richard Prince, Cecily Brown, Chloe Wise, Burnt Toast, Rashid Johnson, Matthew Wong, Will Boone, Ferrari Sheppard, Takashi Murakami and Lucy Bull. Interscope musicians in the exhibit also include Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Machine Gun Kelly, Kendrick Lamar, Eve, No Doubt, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and May J. Blige. Following the exhibit, many of the pieces will used for reissues of albums.

“Artists Inspired by Music” coincides with Interscope’s 30th anniversary. The exhibit was spearheaded by label partner Justin Lubliner, who asked co-founder Jimmy Iovine, current chairman John Janick, vice chairman Steve Berman and executive Josh Abraham to revisit the history of the label through the lens of visual art. The curator is the museum’s associate curator of decorative arts and design Staci Steinberger.

The opening’s guest list also included Jared Leto, Fergie, Finneas, Karen O, Machine Gun Kelly, Kelly Rowland, Liberty Ross, Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Tony Canal, Steve Stoute, The Game and Zack Bia.

“Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined” runs at LACMA from Jan. 30-Feb. 13.

Olivia Rodrigo Splits With Manager

Olivia Rodrigo Splits With Manager

Olivia Rodrigo is reportedly seeking a new manager after splitting with Kristen Smith.

According to a report, the 18-year-old star parted ways with Camp Far West Management founder Kristen Smith. Rodrigo’s publicist has not responded to comment about the rumor. Hits Daily Double reports that Rodrigo is in early discussions with a few top-tier managers.

Olivia Rodrigo was the breakout success of 2021, scoring the year’s #2 album with SOUR. She also enjoyed the #2 and #3 songs of 2021 with “drivers license” and “good 4 u.” Only Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” edged out the Disney star from the top spot. Rodrigo has also earned nominations in all four of the top Grammy categories for a total of seven noms in 2021.

Rodrigo says everything about her life changed the week “drivers license” dropped.

“It’s quite strange because my entire life has changed in a week, and also nothing has changed at all,” Rodrigo told Vogue. “Every day I’m in my house, doing my homework, but people who I’ve looked up to since I was ten are reaching out and saying they love my music. It’s a strange sort of paradox.”

Rodrigo says she had no expectations for “drivers license” to chart, or break records.

“I’ve always felt great about it, but I definitely didn’t expect it to chart like it has and break all of these records. It’s surreal,” Rodrigo says in an interview. “It feels like a glitch in the simulation that is life. I see all these numbers and records [being broken], but I’m stuck in my house.

“I haven’t seen anyone or even played a show and I haven’t been able to see my producer, so it feels like it’s happening in an insulated time, which is making it feel even crazier.” When asked who she most wants to work with, Rodrigo says she’d love to collab with Lorde. “I love Lorde. She’s the greatest lyricist of our generation, she’s incredible. I love Gwen Stefani too, I’ve been listening to tons of her stuff.”
